about

Last year, one of the street kids from Kivulu (Kampala Uganda) passed away. When i heard the news i put this song together in his memory. The reality for these kids is something that i have a hard time even trying to grasp. But i've decided to do my best to be involved with their lives in any way that i can. Their spark and courage has inspired me to live life more than i had been living it. This is the original version that i wrote and recorded for Patrick last year.

lyrics

"Cry oh heart! Awaken to your own. Why are some, taken home?"
