Fear And Freedom

from Digital April: Volume 1 by Jesse Sprinkle

/

about

Once I realized what I really had, it was up to me to fight for my life to keep it. Fear and freedom both have wonderful and terrible sides to them.
This song is for those of you who are trying to find and know the difference. At times it feels like you're only clawing for a place to breathe, but I have to believe that the morning will come.
This is arguably the most intimate piece that I've ever written. I honestly didn't ever intend for it to leave the walls of this home. But after time and some healing, we're more than happy to share a glimpse of our trials and triumphs. Thanks to our friends who have stood by us through the years. We're surely not created to go through life alone. Believe me, I've tried.

lyrics

Don't let this fear run.
Don't let this fire grow cold.
