Jesse Sprinkle - Hide Away

from The Winter Blue by Jesse And The Sprinkles

/

about

One of my favorite songs, from one of my favorite musicians that I've had the privilege to know. In memory of the late great Gene Eugene. Gene had a huge impact on my musical career, and I'm grateful that I was able to work with him back in the day. This song was originally released 25 years ago on the Adam Again album "Homeboys." I've wanted to record this song for years, but I feared doing it injustice, so I kept putting it off. But the timing was just right. Thanks to my brother Aaron for his help with the finishing touches, and to my good friend Kurt for his beautiful guitar work. It was an honor to record this song. I know many many people miss Gene and his quirky/somber charm. Here's to you my friend.
