about

Here is a b-side from the "Surrounded By Lights" era. For some reason I just didn't have the energy to finish it at the time.
I only hope that our passions (good and bad), our decisions (good and bad) and our mistakes (both good and bad), don't ultimately define us. But if they don't, then what does? (The cracks on our proverbial walls?)
It can be very difficult to not blame other people when we find ourselves unhappy. Either way, this song holds much more meaning and relevance to me right now than it did 5 years ago when I wrote it. That seems to be a strange pattern in my life. Also, madd props to the "Disintegration" album. I tried to fight and deny the truth all those years ago, but that record is truly one of mankind's greatest achievements.

lyrics
