about

Amanda Sprinkle here to share my thoughts: Last fall my family got the shocking news that my dad has brain cancer. As all the questions and emotions began to surface, my dad in his quiet wisdom reminded us that our God is in control and to fix our eyes on Him. There is joy in every moment if we look for it... in the stars and even in popsicles. This is a song our family wrote together the day before grampa came home. Needless to say there were a few tears as the whole family listened and sang along..
Thank you Jesse David for loving my family in the best way you know how... in giving your time and talent to this song... a priceless gift that only you could give.

lyrics

"Now grampa is home, and sick of being at the hospital. Now that you know, well you can sit and eat a popsicle. Don't worry at all. It's just another silly obstacle. And life is a ball. It's like gettin' back up on that bicycle."
