Last year the owner of a local Rochester NY establishment passed away. I only was only an acquaintance of his, but I still felt led to write a song in his memory. It's sad to see the end of the legacy of an individual and the legacy of a store that was loved by a community. I'm grateful for good memories, fleeting as they were.

Jesse's music mostly falls on the melancholy side of beauty, with surprising splashes of cheerfulness.
