Over Land and Dimly Lit Skies (2013)

from Digital April: Volume 1 by Jesse Sprinkle

/

about

Occasionally i travel down a long and winding road that only leaves me stuck in a huge ditch. I like to call that road "expectations". Sometimes we create our own expectations, or maybe they come from others, or it's a strange mix of neither. Regardless, they often tend to get in the way of what we're really suppose to do in life.
Here is a new and improved song from "The Corner of An Unlit World". It most definitely hails from darker days, but now holds new meaning that I had never planned or expected.
This version is now suitable for all ages.

lyrics

"Your first mistake was heading back for more
In hoping to relate
With expectations flooding down the door
And the fullness of your reign"
